Prof. Nandang Sutrisno, S.H., LL.M., M.Hum., Ph.D.

Nandang Sutrisno is a former rector and a Professor of International Law based at Universitas Islam Indonesia, where he graduated from its Faculty of Law. Prof. Nandang Sutrisno holds a dual master’s degree from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga and McGill University, Canada. Prof. Nandang Sutrisno received his Ph.D. from The University of Melbourne, Australia.

Rear Admiral Kresno Buntoro, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D.

Rear Admiral Kresno Buntoro is the current Head of The Indonesian National Armed Forces’ Legal Development and Administration Body (Badan Pembinaan Hukum TNI). He obtained his bachelor degree in international law from Universitas Diponegoro and Master of Laws in Public International Law from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. Rear Admiral Kresno Buntoro holds a Ph.D. in Ocean and Transnational Security from the University of Wollongong, Australia. In addition to his military duties, Rear Admiral Kresno Buntoro teaches international law in a number of law schools in Indonesia.

Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D.

Hikmahanto Juwana is a Professor of International Law based at the University of Indonesia, and a former Chancellor of General Achmad Yani University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Indonesia; he obtained his Master's degree at the Faculty of Law, Keio University, Japan; and he was awarded with a Doctor of Philosophy from University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana serves as a visiting professor at National University of Singapore, Nagoya University, Japan and the University of Melbourne, Australia, marking him as a renowned International Law academic in Indonesia and overseas.

Gemilang is an emerging international law scholar with interdisciplinary research expertise that spans from international trade law, international investment law, international commercial arbitration, law of the sea and outer space law. Gemilang holds a stellar academic record as Valedictorian at Universitas Islam Indonesia for her Bachelor of Law degree and graduated with Cum Laude honours from the Master of Laws programme at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Gemilang currently serves as an Assistant Professor of International Law at a prestigious private university in Indonesia where she teaches, supervises, examines undergraduate theses and provide law-related community services.

Arief Hasanul Husnan Nasution, S.H.

Arief Nasution is an aspiring air power theorist. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree with Cum Laude honours from Universitas Islam Indonesia's International Program Faculty of Law, and concluded a credit transfer program at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, gaining expertise in defense and security issues. Additionally, he interned at the Trade Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ankara, Türkiye.

Rafi has a strong and linear academic backgrounds in his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Universitas Islam Indonesia and Universitas Gadjah Mada respectively. Rafi has actively engaged in the realm of academia through his publications and participations at international and national forums discussing varieties of international law issue.
